Hey gang

Happy Sunday!

There's a lot of moving parts to my life right now.

Some good, some great, but all beautiful and necessary.

Rather than bring you a big idea or something to chew on, I think a few updates from the world of Sav are required.

So here they are (Read to end to receive a little surprise as number 4 is guaranteed to be your favourite):

One: On My Health

No beating around the bush, I was drinking way too much alcohol.

Not huge amounts, but way too consistently.

I didn't think it was a huge concern, but a couple months back my GP (a person I respect and trust) pulled me up.

He told me I can't keep this up.

My future health depended on me slowing down/quitting.

So, at the beginning of July I engaged my brother as a coach to hold me accountable as I step away from alcohol.

The results were instant.

More energy, more effectiveness, better sleep, no brain fog, loss of weight and more confidence in myself to fulfil my responsibilities.

I have drunk twice this month, but on my terms.

I started the month at 94kg (on the left) and now I'm down to 91kg (on the right)—mostly from giving up alcohol.

On top of cutting back on alcohol, I have finally received my ADHD diagnosis and am now taking Vyvanse (a stimulant medication to help with focus and consistency), which is helping me do the small things I often found so arduous.

Full results on the medication are pending but the early signs are very promising.

It's not all positive though.

I am vaping a lot more than I would like, but I see this as transitory gap-fill as I transition away from alcohol dependence.

The goal is not to be perfect, the goal is to be better.

Mentally and emotionally I'm in a fantastic spot. I feel in control of so much in my life, it's freeing.

Physically I have some soft tissue and muscular injuries that are preventing me from training exactly how I would like to, however I have transitioned to focus on daily steps and sauna, plus regular physio and remedial massage.

Two: Life, Love & Loss

On life...

The synchronicity and timing of things can not be understated.

If you can't see the bigger picture right now, don't worry, it will reveal itself when the time is right.

I feel very strongly about that.

It's weird to say, but without my long and winding journey I don't think I would be in the prime position I am right now to capitalise on my mission as a creator.

On love...

I have fallen in love.

It feels right.

She is kind, loving, thoughtful, intelligent and most importantly, understanding.

She understands me and my needs.

We talk, listen and attempt to understand each other.

It's safe, healthy and grounding.

On loss...

My best friend in the whole world lost his little brother quite suddenly and tragically last week.

Tommy was only 33 years young when he was found dead.

He only recently got married and had his first child. I'm heartbroken for the family he leaves behind and especially for my mate who just suffered the kind of loss that haunts me everyday.

Tommy was an infectious energy with a huge smile and a big heart.

After years of torment and poor decisions, he finally turned his life around, became a man and started living in accordance with his higher self.

If you have loved ones, hug them a little tighter today, on behalf of me and Tommy.

Rest In Power Tommy.

Three: Content Output

Reducing alcohol and increasing Vyvanse has lead to a productivity boost—no surprises there.

I'm back to weekly newsletters, regular pods and short-form content.

I have engaged some new tools like Opus Clip and Typefully to use AI to push out more content, more consistently, and I have attempted to improve my thumbnail game (see below).

Are they improving?

I'm in a flow state right now.

Ideas are pouring out of me and the content is happening effortlessly. Stay tuned for much, much more!

Four: A New Project

Ok this is the big finale.

My next project is almost here and I'm going to share exclusively with you beautiful humans what it is and what it's called.

In 2023 I released 'The People's Champ' EP.

In roughly 2 months time I will be releasing the follow up project titled...

Drum Roll
